This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of personal data in accordance with art. 13 of Italian Law Decree D.Lgs. 196/2003 “Regulations governing personal data protection” (hereinafter “Law Decree”).
The holder and the responsible for processing of the collected data is ALGEA AS, with registered office at P.O Box 2143, Lokkemyra, 6502 Kristiansund, Norway.


ALGEA AS submits in out-sourcing to VALAGRO SPA, with registered office in Zona Industriale, Atessa (CH)- Italy, the treatment of the Personal Data.
Consequently the Personal Data you submit and the email you send will be disclosed to the employees and/or collaborators of Valagro’s Marketing Management who, working under the authority of VALAGRO SPA and after receiving adequate operating instruction in relation to their tasks, are nominated as entrusted of the treatment of the data in Out-Sourcing in compliance with art. 26 of the Law Decree.


Concerned parties can contact ALGEA AS (P.O Box 2143, Lokkemyra, 6502 Kristiansund, Norway) in writing to exercise their rights under art. 7 of Italian Law Decree 196/2003:

1) to obtain information on the origin of personal data, the purpose and methods of its processing, electronic processing logic; details of the holder and processing responsible and of the persons or categories of persons to whom personal data may be revealed or who may come into contact with it;
2) to update, correct, add to, delete, render anonymous, or prevent the illegal processing of data, including data that need no longer be kept for the purposes for which it was originally collected or subsequently processed, and to obtain assurance that all such requests and the data to which they apply have been passed on to all those to whom the data has been revealed or sent, except in cases where fulfillment of the requests proves impossible or involves the use of means clearly disproportionate to the right protected;
3) to oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data, even though such data may be relevant to the purpose for which it was collected, or to oppose the processing of personal data for purposes of sending advertising or direct sale material or for performing market research or commercial communication studies.
In order for you to request or submit information to us, we may ask you to provide personal data such as your name, postal address, telephone, fax number and e-mail address. When you submit personal data to us, you understand and agree that this data will be supplied to ALGEA who will take appropriate measures to ensure that personal data are protected from unauthorised use and kept in a secure manner either electronically or on manual records.

The data are to be collected for the purposes set out below, and to keep users updated on new products, promotions and ALGEA’s activities in general.

In particular, ALGEA will use collected data for the following purposes:
a) to fulfil contracts of sale or contracts governing the provision of services (the supply of goods or services);
b) to perform marketing activities, including the dispatch of newsletters, MMS messages, SMS messages, and the like;
c) to provide information;
d) to generate professional profiles on customers or consumers;
e) for market research or other research aimed at improving company's products or services;
f) for personnel recruitment, selection and assessment activities.

If you do not want your details to be used in any of the ways described, please change your Data Protection permissions, once you are registered on the website. To do this, log into the website using your username and password that will be given you after your request at the e-mail address you forward us.
