THE FIVE MAIN EFFECTS
-
IMMUNE SYSTEM
Regular application of the AlgeaFert products on the leaf apparatus of the plants induce the so called localised acquired resistance (LAR) against a series of funguses, bacteria and viruses; there were however no findings that show that this effect could be systemic. Furthermore the applications improve the capacity of the plant to withstand high levels of environmental stress and can reduce the attacks by and infestations of parasites.
-
FREEZING
The AlgeaFert extracts applied to the plants that can acclimatise themselves to the cold begin or accelerate their acclimatisation before they are subjected to the stress of the cold. This enables the plants to tolerate lower temperatures and reduces the amount of damage they cause.
-
NEMATODES
The complex range of elements in the Algea Fert extracts can help to reduce damage caused by nematodes.
AlgeaFert induces the reduction of the nesting of the nematodes, the disorientation of the same or simple “burn outs” of the immature ones (J2s) as well as restricting their penetration of plant roots to the minimum. -
MICROBES
Special carbohydrates in our AlgeaFert extracts serve as nutrients to bacteria that are beneficial to the soil, causing a considerable proliferations of them there.
These microbes foster plant growth by stimulating the composites that determine the growth of roots and the development of a solid root system.
The increase in the bacterial population can physically exclude and/or compete with the implantation in the soil of potential pathogenic funguses. -
CHLOROPHYLL
Leaf applications of AlgeaFertextacts lead also to a greater conservation of the chlorophyll that makes the plants greener.
This greening is due to the betaine in the extract that is able to reduce the damage caused by the photosynthetic process.
